27 October 2016 I have received refund with incorrect A/c.no.Hence I have returned the cheque to bank.After on requesting refund the message coming refund issued.How many days it will take to update in income tax website.Since in refund status it shows as cheque returned and contact your assessing officer.please guide me.

27 October 2016 You can request online for refund reissue, if cheque date is more than 3 month no need to return the cheque, by logging online income tax portal you can request by quoting refund sequence number mentioned in Intimation quote correct account number, opt for ECS or Cheque submit your request, 15 days you will receive refund.
