One of My client is Providing Support Service to US Company i.e making an export of service

to run business in india he has to avail various service in india

can Service Tax Paid CAN Be claimed as refund and if Yes Kindly Let me Know if any Procedure

22 August 2012 No such provision of REFUND. Moreover, with the introduction of place of provision (Providing) service rules 2012, you need to check whether your case falls under that. In that case your service providing may not be EXEMPT. Please check the same.

23 August 2012 Please check the new status of exemption as per POPS 2012. Many exempted services are coming under the net of service tax due to this place of provision rules.
