16 April 2010 My Income tax refund is pending for the AY 2006-07 onwards. How to go about claiming refund?? Should i make application to the respective wards ITO??? i personally visited him a year back when he said he will arrange to send it across in a weeks time. However, it is yet awaited...

please guide me to get the speedy refund...

17 April 2010 First of all check the refund status in https://tin.tin.nsdl.com/oltas/refundstatuslogin.html
If the status shows refund is still due, move a petition before the jurisdictional ITO. Wait for a reasonable time and if you get the refund cheque it is well and good otherwise move a petition again before the Income tax Ombudsman.
