10 February 2016 In case, i have got income tax refund cheque with wrong account no, what procedure i will have to follow as refund is through cheque and not ecs ????

10 February 2016 In such a case online refund reissue request cannot be made unless there is a refund failure. The original refund cheque with wrong account no will have to returned to SBI (refund issuing bank) with an application to cancel the same under intimation to CPC. Than after the process is complete and status is updated to refund failure on CPC you can file online refund reissue request and select ECS as an option.

10 February 2016 if Cheque date more than 90 Days , you need not return the Cheque.
