Generally By what time refund is released by income tax department after return filling?

Normally a LIMIT is set by the finance dept...... These are released within 60 days provided all other details filled in are acceptable.

for ITR1,ITR3 APPROX 3 MONTHS
ITR4,ITR6 cannot say, may release after assessment in major cases
