Reduction in Service Tax

24 March 2009 As Service Tax is reduced to 10% I want to know Is there any circular or any G.O. is there for reduction in service tax. As my owner is not agreeing to take service tax on rent at 10.30%.

24 March 2009 Notification No 8/2009 – ST dated 24.02.2009 has been issued to exempt the service tax that is in excess of 10%. On the other hand this is reduction of service tax rate from the existing rate of 12% to 10%.
