28 June 2013 after filing income tax return and paying tax of year 2010...again adn again i m reciving letter from the income tax department that,tax not paid...after giving proof so many times,again i m reciving letter .wat to do

To resolve the issue jurisdictional AO may be contacted with a written application with evidence of payment, mentioning the fact that the demands have already been paid. Obtain his receipt also for the compliance made.

If the procedure has already been performed, be watchful for the forthcoming AYs Refunds.

28 June 2013 You are already aware about the online requests and when these are not effective offline approach may be resorted.

Our AOs are online with the department's website and thankfully entertains the assessees offline only.
