09 May 2016 What is the criteria or procedure for a Political Party to obtain from Tax Department for the benefit of Donors ?

09 May 2016 1 Political party might have registered with election commission of India.
2 Treasurer of the political party must file a declaration in respect of donations exceeding Rs. 20,000 at a time to the election commission before the due date for submission of IT return.
3 Books of accounts to be maintained.
4 Contributions exceeding Rs. 20,000 should be in crossed cheque or draft.
5 Income tax return to be filed.
6 Books of accounts to be audited.
