Limit of 5000/- is for all expenses made from unregistered supplier in a day.
If you pay rent of 5000/- & also brought tea of Rs.50/- on same day then total exp will be 5050/- i.e. more than Rs 5000.
Soyou have to pay GST under RCM on same.

Expenses incurred more than Rs.5000/- in the same day is to pay GST under RCM

Expenses payable on periodic basis like Rent, Taxi Hire Charges, Staff Welfare etc can not be broken on daily basis to check limit of Rs 5000/- Per day. However you can plan purchase of stationery with a gap of few days to avoid the limit. This is only illustrative. Each case has to be viewed individually.
