I am a Chartered Accountant, currently working in indirect tax with one of the big4s. However, I have a very strong liking and attraction towards career in RBI. Since RBI recruits grade B professionals every year which is a managerial position, I am targeting to crack this exam in 2017.

However, my current working hours are very bad ( Almost 13-14 hours every day and no weekends) which does not allow me to prepare for RBI exam. Thats why I am thinking to take a sabbatical next year for 3-4 months and prepare for the exam and crack it.

Can anyone tell me is it a correct strategy?

04 September 2016 RBI b grade exam in the preliminary level it isjust like normal bank PO examination

After passing preliminary exam there is descriptive exam also

For passing preliminary exam normal Bank PO reference book is only needed .for descriptive exam in the RBI site they have given the subjects from they ask questions

I have once written this exam although I could pass the preliminary exam I could not pass the descriptive exam
