04 December 2014 A CA having proprietorship firm has been appointed as Statutory auditor of a company for F.Y. 2013-14 but it has converted the CA Firm (prop.) into Partnership firm on 02/07/2014. Can the proprietor of the previous firm sign the financial statement of the company on 25/08/2014 and in which capacity proprietor or partner of new firm. If, can't then who can sign on which date.

04 December 2014 co need to again pass a resolution and appoint new audit firm as there is no prop firm anymore.

05 December 2014 it means the partnership firm will do the audit and sign the financial statement

sir but in form 23 AC where it ask about the auditor the details will be of the proprietor firm or partner firm
