if the employer made form 16 A without including deductions under section 80 C then shall we eligible to claim these deductions while preparing our return to Income Tax department...

please reply.. urgently required !

19 June 2009 Dear Gourav in form 16A is not mention details of u/s 80C. It will be mention in Form 16 which is to be issued to salary employees.

19 June 2009 if you are talking about form 16, then yes you can take the appropriate exemption during filling the return.

19 June 2009 Dear Gaurav, Form No. 16 is only a certificate of salary paid & TDS made by the employer. It is not your computation of income. Therefore claim the deduction u/s. 80C while filing your return of income.
