dear experts !
if the employer made form 16 A without including deductions under section 80 C then shall we eligible to claim these deductions while preparing our return to Income Tax department...
please reply.. urgently required !

Dear Gourav in form 16A is not mention details of u/s 80C. It will be mention in Form 16 which is to be issued to salary employees.

if you are talking about form 16, then yes you can take the appropriate exemption during filling the return.

Dear Gaurav, Form No. 16 is only a certificate of salary paid & TDS made by the employer. It is not your computation of income. Therefore claim the deduction u/s. 80C while filing your return of income.

I think it is form 16 and you can claim deduction of sec.80c in your ITR.
