20 March 2009 Dear Sir,
I am a PCC student doing my articles to appear for May 2010 exams in Cochin.i wish to know whether SA s or AAS would be applicable for my exams.

20 March 2009 Dear Vishwandh, every year we get around 25000 CAs, and out of these I dont think more then 10-12% shall be from big well known CA firms. Then it means all other 88-90% are not good CAs. Dear friend, its not like that. What all you need is various kind of exposure in every field, but remember, you need to get a degree too. So first try out for learning the basics. And study hard.When you will be a CA, you will be at such a high confidence that you can compete any finance people in this world just due to your good study and strong basics. SO dont take tension much and work hard with the existing firm. ANd if get some good opportunity then take transfer. But do not make it a matter of tension.

21 March 2009 Sorry dear, I am not aware of this thing. In my knowledge only updations that came into effect upto six months before from the date of examination are made applicable.
