07 February 2016 Dear experts, I have submitted form 112 for pursuing cs course in dec 13. Now in nov 15 i applied for m.com course too via submission of form 112. when i made an inquiry regarding non receipt of any letter, ICAI told me that you can pursue only one course at a time. They said that i have to leave one of the course.
I asked them how to leave a course, so they asked me to submit an affidavit stating that i will not pursue cs till completion of articleship.
My question is,
1. What is the meaning of not pursuing any course? - does that mean i cannot take classes etc or does that mean i cannot give any exam?
2. What if i give exams only? -will there be any issue?
3. Can i submit affidavit made from my home town or is it necessary to make it from delhi?
4. What should be the value of stamp? - i used a Rs 10 stamp-is that ok ?

07 February 2016 it means you cannot be active in any CS related matter be it classes (if conducted by ICSI) or exams. no one can stop you from attending coaching classes except for your principal!

for affidavit, execute in the place where you currently are. The notary will be able to guide you better on the stamp duty value as each state has its own stamp duty laws.
