11 June 2012 Dear Experts,

My proprietorship firm had been selected for service tax audit under EA-2000-reg.

The documents required by them includes the following :-
1)Assessee Profile in Annexure - A.
2)List of records maintained and declared under Rule 5(2) of Service Tax Rule.

Now, my query is What is Annexure A in which i have to provide assessee profile and What are the records to be produce under rule 5(2) of Service Tax Rule.

Also dose anyone have the soft copy of Annexure - A?

13 June 2012 Please ask copy of assessee profile from the auditor who has asked you to submit the details . If they are not giving the same, don't submit the details as Assessee profile is to be prepared by Audit Officer who conducts audit of the unit under EA 2000.

List of private records maintained by you for manufacture or exisable goods such as purchase register, sales register, cash book, grn , etc.

in case of receipt of services whatever records maintained by you for receiving services, utiliwsation of service, such work order, service payment register etc.
