sir i have small refund of rs.8000 for 2 year as i filed for claiming my tds but while filing i commit mistake of wrong pan and sever letter filed with department finally i file rti letter so i got answer for quoting wrong i wil be penailesed for rs.10000 so i reply that is penslip mistake and the after 2 months again asked for my refund but this i completely filed wrong pan as i copied format instead of my pan others pan quoted .. not ito asked me to pay fine wat should i do he is not lesning to me....

You need to understand the differrence between ERROR and MISTAKE. When you yourself admit that it was a mistake, better PAY for the same. Ignorance need not be pleaded for SYMPATHY.
