i want to know that as DIN 4 has to be certified by a PCS but there is a option to certify DIN 4 also by a CS in full time employment of a co in which the applicant who is filing DIN 4 is a director...

i want to know if a person is director as well as a CS in full time employment of a same co then whether he can certify DIN 4 for himself or in that case certication should be done by PCS ???

pls guide in this ASAP......

and one more thing how to know whether a particular director has filed his DIN 4 for intimation of PAN ? is there is any way out to know that ??? pls reply ASAP

06 September 2011 1.There is an option in DIN-4 for CS in employment. But such a wording is missing in Annexure-2. Solution seems debatable.
2.For the last point in the query, fillup DIN-4 upto the column for PAN and click the 'validation of pan'. The system will give a message 'pan is already registered' in case the applicant has either entered PAN in DIN-1 or he/ she might has filed DIN-4.
