14 February 2014 Sir,

I have joined articalship as on 15th May2012, Due to some personal problem I not completed/Registered GMCS 1 till now. now please advice me about penalty or effect of it.

1. Can now i able for join GMCS 1?
2. If yes then when my GMCS 2 Due?
3. Due to this my final exam attempt and articalship effected or not?

I am affraid about my articalship & final exam attempt, I am not want more delay in my final exams. So Kindly aware me effect of this.
Please help me.

14 February 2014 1. yes you can do gmcs - I now..please enroll at the earliest.

2. you need to do gmcs-II before completion of articleship ie before 14 May 2015.

3. as of today, ICAI has not indicated any penal measures. regardless, you should finish both parts of GMCS well in advance to avoid any complication.

15 February 2014 Thanks for reply sir,

I am allready ask same from Institute and reply those come is "One time extension was given to the students who have registered articleship training between 1.5.2012, 2012 to 31.12.2012 to complete GMCS-I course by 31.12.2013. Since, you have not undergone the GMCS-I Course till date, you cannot register for undergoing GMCS-I now.
Please wait for further announcement in this regard."

Now please advice me for this situation.

then you will have to wait for the further notification. Personally I find it very strange of ICAI to not even permit registration.

26 February 2014 Manjeet honestly, it is a help less situation. I would suggest that you personally meet the regional center council members (they are easily approachable). I am sure they would be able to help you.
