17 April 2013 sir my self RAKESH KUMAR ,CRO0319068 started articleship frm 25-02-2013 and submitted the form 103 to ca institute but today i rcv 1 letter by icai that my CA IS salaried employment so not eligible to trained an article..but my CA is holding a COP FRM DATE 20-09-2012 as written on my form 103 which i submitted . membership no of my CA IS 408235. but when i check the members detail FROM ICAI WEBSITE its written that he doesnt hold COP. SIR PLS HELP M WHAT SHOULD I DO..IS THERE ANY CHANCE THAT THE MEMBER IS HOLDING COP BUT DIDNT RCV THE SAME FROM THE INSTITUTE

If the Principal is not holding COP as on 25.02.2013, then he can give you training. He can not hold COP retrospectively.

I will suggest you to drop your article ship with that CA and join other.

18 April 2013 dear sir when i consult this matter frm my CA then he answer..u dont hv to take tention that same letter has been sent to my CA also he.. said i hv COP frm date 20-09-2012.. may b there record is not updated thats why by mistake they sent to us...and he say..iam giving answer of this letter to ICAI

If your CA is having COP then let him write to ICAI that he is having COP and to rectify the mistake but he does not have then you are spoiling your carrier and wasting your time as after doing work for few months you are not registered as an article then what will happen to you.

I think you must be going to his office and your principal must be signing some documents or balance sheets if he is doing this then I think he has COP but still when the authority and the Father of ICAI is writing that he does not have COP then there is no remedy for this you should go for your carrier and register with other CA
