09 April 2012 as i am doing c.a can i pursue irs along with c.a course?

10 April 2012 No problem if you are permitted to do any other course by ICAI then you can do it but for the same you have to take prior permission from ICAi. Generally if the timings for doing other course are different then your C. A. articles and your employer (Principal) does not have any objection on your timing then the ICAI allows to do any other course. In case you have started any other course wihout the permission of the ICAI and as and when it comes to the notice of the ICAI even after passing your C.A. you can be issued with a notice for cancellation of your Articles.

10 April 2012 Over and above advised by the expert, for getting prior permission, the article trainee has to submit a form to ICAI intimating the timings and period of the said course along with the permission from the Auditor.
