Purpose of unclaimed TDS column under tax paid schedule in ITR

There is a clause "UNCLAIMED TDS" under TAX PAID Schedule. Kindly let me know the very purpose of this clause and how far this clause can help the tax payers.

Generally, it helps the assessee to deny the income which does not relate to his own, or if it pertains to some other PAN.
