can anybody tell that is provident fund deducted on the time of resignation for the paid leaved availed the by the employee

i am doing a audit of a mfg cos in which employees who have resigned were paid their dues after deducting necessary items which included PF
while calculating PF leave salary was also added as a part of salary
i want to know is leave salary is a part of salary for calculation of PF

Supreme court has recently ruled Leave salary is not considered for calculating PF
