Whether Proposed dividend can be cancelled?

Yes proposed dividend can be cancelled but a dividend once declared becomes a liability of the Company and cant be cancelled.

Proposed dividend, as the name suggests is only a proposal. Until it is approved, it does not become a liability of the Company. Hence they can be cancelled. Only declared dividend cannot be cancelled.
