07 March 2012 Pls let us know whether for claiming LTA exemption proofs are required to be collected by employer or not.

07 March 2012 Yes; The employer has to collect the proofs of LTA expenditure incurred by his employee. It is his obligation to see that LTA claimed by the employee is within the parameters prescribed by IT Rules.
