Professional Ethics - Final exam point of view

21 May 2009 Hi,

There is a confusion over a person who is a CPA, IS he eligbile to become member of ICAI?. If so, the notification also pls forward. Have been trying to get it from Institute site, not able to succeed.

Kindly help.

22 May 2009 No till earlier- Person with CPA cant be the member of ICAI, but now- ICAI memorandum with CPA Aus, a CPA Aus can be the member of ICAI but he has to pass some papers of ICAI (3 or 4 papers) with some other requirements...!!!
But u must know that a CPA Aus without giving any paper cant be the member of Institute...!!!
For ur other reference,
Earlier, A person with a ICAEW degree was eligible to be the member but this has been withdrawn by the council of the institute on 8th dec.,1995.!!!
