Dear experts Could you please let me know what is the procedure for opening demat account , & which bank is charging low bank charges at the time of purchase & sell the shares through demat account .

For opening a Demat A/c you will require to submit a form duly filled in along with photo ID and Address ID.
One cancelled cheque and one cheque towards account opening charge will be required.
If you inquire your broker, whether having
such facility, if yes, open your a/c with him only. In that case your charges will be minimum.
