13 August 2010 is there any maximum amount cap on ppf , that you can not invest after a certain point ? i.e. in totality not a per year amount.

13 August 2010 Any individual may, on his own behalf or on behalf of a minor of whom he is the guardian, subscribe to the Public Provident Fund (thereafter referred to as the fund) any amount not less than Rs. 500 and not more than Rs. 70,000 in a year.

13 August 2010 There is no such cap on the PPF. Its only maximum 70000/- & minimum 500/- per annum. Tenure : 15 years
Can be extended in the multiple of 5 years.
