Hello sir ,
i need it to be resolved urgently,
i would like to know whether a managing director of a pvt ltd co. can authorize any other person through power of attorney (to execute works contract or in relation to any tender)

MD can do it as he has inherent powers of managing the whole affairs of the company.
However as a good corporate governance it's better if the matter is considered at the BM and the Board authorises the MD or any other person to issue such POA.
