03 July 2012 A power of attorney for representation in deptmt. has to be executed on what denomination of stamp paper? isn't it sufficient if company gives authority letter on its letter head to the professional duly signed and executed by its directors??

03 July 2012 Authority letter also works but some AO insist on POA. No specific denomination for POA can be made on even Rs 10 stamp paper. Vakalatnama is also used.
