23 August 2011 I had filed my income tax return onlne.
I recieved a notification from Income Tax deptt. to pay some tax because of some error in calculation. I have deposited the tax online.

Do I have to file the return again to show that I have paid the required tax? Or Do I have to send a letter to the income tax officer?

23 August 2011 No need to file the return again, once you paid the Income tax and challan you can send to A.O. with Income tax order to your A.O
