hello everyone.
I am to appear CA final in Nov 2015. please suggest me which book should I prefer for Direct tax.
My picks are:
1. Direct Tax Laws Quick Insight by Chakravarthi Murali
2. VG sir
3. TN Manoharan.
Few of my friends told me that Chakravarthi Murali has lots of mistakes. is that true?? plz help.

No. Idea about Chakravarthi Murli but rest of the two books are very good. In my view opt for T N Manoharan.

I second that, T N Manoharan is indeed a good book. Easier to read for students.

For Direct Taxes you may refer: TN Manoharan especially for Theory part) along with latest, Circular, Notification, Amendments and case laws. Also refer Vinod Gupta Modules for additional inputs.
