Hi, I want to start practice on Service tax, VAT etc. Please guide me what things to study? what are the things to be kept in mind etc

Are you CA or CS or having any other qualification. If you are simple B. Com. then take the ITP certificate which can be availed from the CIT and then you should know the ST & VAT accordingly you arrange clients by filling their returns, challans and get the assessments completed
