17 September 2012 I do not have the full data so its difficult to guide but i can tell u the steps:

Open the Excel Sheet:

Click Insert> Pivot Table> Select the Table Range>ok>

Pivot table will appear on the Sheet
then Select Pivot Table Field List

and do Permutations and Combintaions

17 September 2012 u can guide me how to make it from the data given above....1st column is date...x,y and z (3 columns) are names of persons visited places....i want to know how many times x visited mumbai, pune and delhi...my data is same except huge number of people...
