my dought is any pf, pt, esic or other deduction(benifits) are applicable for person(cwa trainee) who are doing cwa articleship in pvt ltd co.?????

22 June 2013 no such benifits will come..

entitles to receive amount ,,nature is stipend..and fully exempt from income tax

22 June 2013 That what i said above " no such benifits applicable"

PF,ESI,PT are for employees and not applicable for trainees or who is earning stipend income

22 June 2013 In a judgment of Supreme court in the case of RPF Commissioner Vs. Central Aercanut and Coca Marketing and Processing Co-operative Ltd reported in 2006 FLR (108) SC 805:

1)held that even the standing orders were not certified in terms section 12 (A) of the Act, the model standing orders are applicable.

2)The model standing orders defines an apprentice as a learner who is paid allowances during the period of training.

3)Therefore, the trainees are not covered under the P.F.Act
