Penalty on not taking of registration on rcm services

24 November 2016 Sir can u advise me.... We have paid service tax under reverse charge but we have not taken registration on reverse charge services. Now department raise penalty Rs.10,000, Can we pay this?

24 November 2016 It is draconian, but true. Department can impose penalty for any contravention u/s 77.
