Peer review certificate is required for audit of listed comp

07 July 2010 I have got audit of Listed company. I am doing listed company audit for first time. Do i require peer review certificate before signing the audit report. Or i can apply for peer review and simultaneuosly start doing the audit.

07 July 2010 Hi,

Mandatory Peer review is applicable with immediate effect for the accounting period starting on or after April 01, 2009.

From the above said period, only firms which were issued peer review certificates from the Peer Review Board of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, can audit the listed companies.
