18 December 2009 can any one tell me whether PCC and IPCC syllabus is same or not.whether the books available for ipcc can be referred for pcc.

22 December 2009 In course like CA; you should not take any chance. What has been prescribed for IPCC; should be read. By the elapsing of time; subject material requires updation in professional examination.

So you should refer those study materials which is prescribed for IPCC.

Recently in May, 2009 CA Final examination ; one student (Articled Clerk under our firm)who got III rank; scored only 43 marks in auditing. The reason was non-updation of current knowledge. He referred old study materials !

22 December 2009 sir, that means study material is very important. I am an PCC student and i have PCC study material, but i am going to follow the recommended books for study.i will refer to the sudy material which i have,not the updated and recommended books.Will that help me in clearing. Please reply. I feel the conceptual clearance is very imp. It does'nt matter whether we refer to study material or recommended books. What's ur view sir, Please reply.
