can any one tell me whether PCC and IPCC syllabus is same or not.whether the books available for ipcc can be referred for pcc.

In course like CA; you should not take any chance. What has been prescribed for IPCC; should be read. By the elapsing of time; subject material requires updation in professional examination.
So you should refer those study materials which is prescribed for IPCC.
Recently in May, 2009 CA Final examination ; one student (Articled Clerk under our firm)who got III rank; scored only 43 marks in auditing. The reason was non-updation of current knowledge. He referred old study materials !

sir, that means study material is very important. I am an PCC student and i have PCC study material, but i am going to follow the recommended books for study.i will refer to the sudy material which i have,not the updated and recommended books.Will that help me in clearing. Please reply. I feel the conceptual clearance is very imp. It does'nt matter whether we refer to study material or recommended books. What's ur view sir, Please reply.
