Dear All,
While quoting CTC or giving break up of Salary, is it a matter of prudence to mention the Mediclaim Insurance Premium in the break up of Salary offered to employee or Mediclaim is always given separately?

Premium on mediclaim is to be included in CTC.

CTC is not a term defined under any statute. Its meaning is to be construed in common parlance and as accepted generally. CTC includes any cost incurred in connection with and for the benefit the relevant employee. As such the Mediclaim Insurance Premium is includible.
