under reversal machanisam ,service received form Individual lawyer , service receipt is required to pay service tax.
what is the procedure to pay , is service tax no. is required to tax mandatory or through pan no is possible. pl explain the procedure for depositing tax in this.

1. In case of reverse charge all duties & responsibilities lie with the service recipient.
The service recipient has to get himself registered with the service tax authorities, pay tax on services availed & file the return.

i have taken service of from firm advocate worth rs .11 L and my business sale turnover Rs 10 L
and purchase Rs.11 Lakhs and other income is 2 lakhs
is i have to pay service tax as service recepit ?

1. Notification number 25/2012 (Mega exemption notification) exempts services provided by an individual as an advocate or a partnership firm of advocates by way of legal services to, inter alia, a business entity with a turnover up to rupees ten lakh in the preceding financial year.
2. You have to check your turnover in the PRECEDING financial year. If your turnover in the PRECEDING year does not exceed Rs. 10 lakhs, then you are not required to pay service tax on services availed from lawyer during the current year.
