Can salary be paid more than 20000 in cash ? & P.tax had been deducted from the payment of salary ? Do is allowable or not as per 40a(3).

No for Salary above than Rs. 20K u must pay it through check or others but not in cash.

you can not make payment of any exp exceeds rs. 20000/- in cash. otherwise it will disallow.
