Payment of audit fees

Dear Sir,
Our Pvt Ltd company closed & Company Audit Over & now IT Return & ROC return filed for FY 2017-18.
Now my query is after closing the company the How to pay the Auditors Fees relating to Audit for FY 2017-18.
No provision made for Audit in Books of Accounts in FY 2017-18.
Now the Auditors asking for Audit Fees & Bill on name of company/ director.
Who can make the payment of audit fees.
Please advise me on above matter.

Director/Major share holder has to pay out of the money settled on closure.

The company has no funds and the company's reserve and surplus are negative.
Before closing of bank account only CS fees paid & Bank Balance of Rs.2435/- bank's has given cheque in name of director.
