Sir/Madam, Pls tell me that is this a rumor or a fact that passing marks required are to be increased from 40 to 45 for individual and from 50 to 55 in aggregate from May 2016?

There is no notification or announcement from ICAI for increasing the passing criteria. Please do not believe in the rumors. Keep visiting ICAI website for latest exam related announcements/ notifications.
