Sir, What is the max. No. of partners allowed in a partnership firm!? Is it 20 Or 50!? Sir, I've also seen max. No. Of partners as per companies Act is 100!? So which is to be considered!?

In case of private companies, the maximum limit has been increased by the new Companies Act, 2013 from 50 to 200. There is however no maximum limit on the no. of members in a public company.

Thank you for the replies. But I wanted to know for a partnership firm as per Partnership Act what is the max. No. Of partners allowed. Also if the Companies Act prescribes max. 100 partners in a firm and the Partnership Act prescribes 20/50. Which one to be considered,as per Co's Act Or Partnership Act.!?
