29 September 2017 Can anybody explain the concept of partly paid shares??.....then explain the dividend on partly paid shares??

29 September 2017 If only Rs 5 is called and paid on Rs 10 value shares it is called partly paid shares. Share holder has to pay balance Rs 5 as and when called for. If calls are not paid shares will be forfeited. Dividend will be based on amount paid on shares.

29 September 2017 Sir What is call in advance?....then dividend on call in advance?

29 September 2017 It is the amount which is received in advance before the amount is due from shareholders.
Calls in advance is adjusted in future at the time of relevant call.
Dividend not payable on calls in advance.

29 September 2017 Company shall(not can) pay full dividend on partly paid shares i.e., pay dividend on nominal value when Articles are silent & Regulation 83 of table F is not applicable on company...
