Dear all,
Please let me know the complete procedure for getting a PAN number for foreigner in India. Its urgent.

PAN application is filed on Form 49A. The PAN service providers are UTITSL and NSDL. With the application, following documents are needed:
1. Photo of applicant
2. Signature of Application
3. ID Proof:
For Foreign Citizen. Copy of Passport duly attested by the Indian Embassy in the country where applicant is located.
4. Address Proof.
For Foreign Citizen who is in India at the time of PAN application. Copy of Passport or copy of bank account in India.
For Foreign Citizen who is outside India at the time of PAN application. Copy of Passport duly attested by the Indian Embassy in the country where the
applicant is located or copy of bank account in country of residence.
5. Fees Rs.854/- including service tax.
