Can you please resolve one issue of mine
My accounts person has put wrong PAN no on the sale as well as service tax invoice for the last one month.
what is the remedy available to rectify the mistake.is there any penal provisions that will applicable on this

Dear Sachin,
MEntioning of PAN number of Sales Invoices are not mandatory in case you are not dealing in excisable commoddities. In such case you are required to mention excise registation number which must be printed correctly on the invoices. If you querry relates to printing of wrong excise registration and or service tax registration number on the invoices, you are advised to immediately inform the clients above such error and rectify the error without any further delay.
