10 October 2012 Dear Sir,
Whether it is mandatory to enclose I-card copy of gazetted officer with verification certificate while filing PAN correction. As practically, no gazetted officer would be agree to provide his I card copy.

10 October 2012 For the application of pan correction you need to attach a copy of present pan card and any ID proof and address proof. A gazetted officer certificate can be used as ID proof or address proof.but there is no such requirement of enclosing I card.

11 October 2012 Yes it can be used as an id /address proof.
