28 July 2016 2 firms having same name n date of incorp. Have been allotted same pan card. My client is not able file return. Plz help

29 July 2016 you apply for PAN a fresh......it seems that income tax database if considering both the FIRMS as one and same.....

29 July 2016 But then i l b having 2 pans n if i surrender the old 1. Other assessee might be in trouble

29 July 2016 what according to you is more important.????
filing of your return or helping the other....Decide it by yourself and accordingly proceed.
