2 firms having same name n date of incorp. Have been allotted same pan card. My client is not able file return. Plz help

you apply for PAN a fresh......it seems that income tax database if considering both the FIRMS as one and same.....

But then i l b having 2 pans n if i surrender the old 1. Other assessee might be in trouble
