03 May 2010 IF A PERSON IS SELLING HIS TAX FREE PRODUCS WITH SOME PACKING THEREON, FOR WHICH HE DOES NOT CLAIMED ANY ITC, THEN IS IT NECESSARY TO CHARGE A VAT ON PACKING?

04 May 2010 You have not mentioned the State name. However in the state of Assam, no tax on packing of tax free goods.
