28 December 2011 If Profession tax liability is less than 20000/- then monthly payment of profession tax is required. Can I paid profession tax with return ones in year?

29 December 2011 In Karnataka if the PT payable below Rs.5000 per month, the you can pay by quarterly.

31 January 2012 Would suggest that the PT be paid month on month for the actual liability computed for the very reason that the return and details are to be filed online in most of the state. So it is easy for linking every payment and also avoid other hassles.

06 April 2012 If you have deducted the same from the employees then you are bound to pay every month otherwise you have to pay interest and penlaty. If it is for the organisation then you can pay anytime in in installment
